Beauty and Efficiency: ProVia Windows and Doors
Model ReModel 2022 featured ProVia’s Signet fiberglass entry doors and Endure windows, both providing energy efficiency with a great aesthetic.
Signet doors were provided in a bright Hibiscus color that starkly contrasted the dark gray exterior of the accessory dwelling unit (ADU).
One door on the ADU had simulated divided panels, meaning it provided the look of a divided door without compromising efficiency. Dual full glass doors were also provided with Hibiscus frames for the main entrance.
Fully customizable Endure windows with a sleek, narrow black frame—which provided more glass and light—were chosen. The vinyl window frames were designed specially to improve efficiency and prevent air leakage.
The Signet doors and Endure windows were both selected for this project because of their energy efficiency, quality workmanship, and price.
All the windows and doors are Energy Star-rated, providing savings throughout the unit’s life. In addition, contractors installing ProVia windows and doors can attend an installation certification class to ensure that all their installations are done correctly and meet code requirements. Saving money on the doors and windows allowed the project to upgrade other areas to improve the sustainability of the unit.
